This course will better help breast imagers to more readily understand the anxiety patients experience when undergoing breast cancer detection imaging processes. You will learn to identify and capably address patient anxiety using communication, comfort, competency and compassion. Specific skills and tools will be provided to better enhance the patient experience and thus increase compliance with breast imaging guidelines.
