Through engaging lectures and case-based learning, you’ll build a strong foundation in:
- Patient care and communication, including understanding the benefits and limitations of breast ultrasound and applying the BI-RADS system.
- Image production and evaluation, from mastering ultrasound physics and transducer use to improving image quality and troubleshooting equipment.
- Breast anatomy, pathology, and interventions, including recognition of benign and malignant findings, postoperative changes, therapeutic treatment effects, and ultrasound-guided procedures.
This course meets the ARRT’s 16-hour structured education requirement in Breast Sonography, providing the essential knowledge and confidence you need to pursue ARRT certification.
